I see the same. my pd is may 20.
Did anyone see any Soft LUDs on their 485 or old EADs before their approvals/RFEs?
My PD is June 7 2006, not current. Yesterday, I had a soft LUD on my 485 and my first EAD. These two haven't seen any activity since early 2009, and I'm wondering if this means anything or if I'm reading into this a little too much.

House Judiciary Committee Schedules Continued Mark-Up of H.R. 5882 and Others
Its good that its rescheduled. We again have a chance.
I called everyone in the list once - will do it again with my wife today/tomorrow. Please everyone do it and encourage others (your family members / friends/ etc) to call - it wont take much of our time can impact our future in a big way.

Same is the case here.
Opened a SR on 10Aug2010 and got my CPO mail just today. Although I was very sceptic about following up with USCIS by opening SR etc, now I think it definitely helps. I did not get to speak to an IO or escalate my call to a supervisor, but it still worked. Until I opened SR, nothing was happening and my case status which I was checking 5-6 times a day, remained static with no LUD/HUDs.
So, my recommendation to all those whose dates are current is to at least open a SR so that someone at USCIS looks at your file. If everything is OK and the case is pre-adjudicated, then approval will come through. Also, my guess is they have already allocated a Visa number for all those cases that are current (reason- Dates did not move too much forward in September Visa Bulletin). Good luck to everyone waiting. I am sure your turn will come very soon, but at least open a SR to expedite it somehow.

Lost in all this is the fact that Punjabi wants to sell his house not because he cannot afford it anymore, but because he wants to move to a different city to a higher paying job and can't be bothered to take responsibility for his failed real estate venture. He could have done the ethical thing and stayed in his present job and paid off his loan but he is choosing not to. And who does he blame for his situation? The concept of the "American dream". So the fact that he wants to shirk his responsibilities in favor of foisting his own debt onto the rest of the country isn't his own fault, it's the "American Dream" that's making him do this. It's not exigent financial circumstances that are causing him to foreclose, it is greed and shortsightedness (colloquially known as "The American Dream"). Greed and shortsightedness already caused him to go 20K under the water. And they will now make him screw up his own credit history. If someone cannot learn from one mistake, I say let him keep making mistakes. He will soon find out how difficult life in the US can be if you don't have a good credit history. As for the burden on us taxpayers, hey, we've been spending 10 billion a week for the past 5 years dropping bombs on people, what's a mere 20K?

My priority Date is EB2 May 2006. I will be current if the dates got moved.
I will be out of the country for the entire month of May.
Please let me know if it is acceptable to be out of the country during 485 approval.
Also please let me know what I need to do at the port of entry.

Now the member who got 2 months off, can either donate two months bill amount or one month (if he choose to retain one month off) to forum.;)

DOS has alloted most unused visa # into EB2 category this year, and EB3 was stuck due to no additional unused EB1 visas.
Visa Bulletin mentioned they did this in according to the requirements of Section 202(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. But actually this might be a misunderstanding of Section 202(a)(5) and Section 203(b) - There is NO words in the act on how to allot unused visa # to differnt categories. Even the country limit and category limit would not apply if there are unused visas #. The allotment Mr. Charles Oppenheimer did horizontal spillover caused longer and more backlogs of EB3.
Congress has a concern on the backlogs and Bush's administration promised to reduce backlogs as much as they can. If Immigration and Nationality Act allows the government to spillover the unused visa # to EB2 & EB3, and a more humane and fair system should take care of early priority date first and do whatever the government has promised, should we ask Mr. Charles Oppenheimer to think about alloting some unused visas to EB3 so it can move forword a little bit?
That is not true...If you look at the Visa Bullettin, it says

Second: Members of the Professions Holding Advanced Degrees or Persons of Exceptional Ability: 28.6% of the worldwide employment-based preference level, plus any umbers not required by first preference.
Third: Skilled Workers, Professionals, and Other Workers: 28.6% of the worldwide level, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences, not more than 10,000 of which to "Other Workers".
Based on the above EB1 spills over to EB2 first.....Eb3 gets unused EB2.
EB3 gets EB1 only if it is not used by EB1.
I'm EB3-I with Oct 2003 PD and I understand your frustration. There is hope only if a legislation change happens. Based on my calculation, there are about 50K to 60K EB3-I pending before me.

Does the A# belong to primary applicant or it can be written in Spouse Application too ?
Should only be put in the primary applicants !485. The spouse will have one on their receipt notice. The fingerprint appointment will use this number as an identifier.

OH law website says that the bill will be introduced around 10.15 today morning.

Correct me if I am wrong. If a person has a good paying job and if he decides to foreclose, isn't he responsible for the loss incurred by the bank. It is a different case if you have no income, but just because you lost money because of a wrong decision, how could you walk away free with just a dent in your credit history. Maybe I am missing something here.
BTW, I am not judging OP in any way, just curious with how foreclosures work as they make headlines everyday now.

Answering to the question about making bad decision and having a good job..well it is not my bad decision that has brought down the whole market but the banks and stupid people who took loan and didnt knew the consequences of ARM loans and then started filing for foreclosure.. because of those foreclosures the property rates have went down and i cannot get what i paid for the house.
if this whole mess was not there then anyone can find a good job and sell his house, if not profit then atleast with no loss..
i hope u got my point..

The 12000 unused visa numbers from EB1 is not the total for the year 2011. It is almost certain that, this is the spillover from the first 2 quarters of 2011. Along with this, there are some numbers from EB2 ROW as well. The spillover will only get applied to all those countries which are retrogressed.
12000 visa numbers would move mathematically the dates to somewhere in Sept 2006 for India and China Eb2. The porting from EB3 to EB2 is still a factor, but that won't exceed more then 1500 (which are ready to be assigned visa).
In order to utilize these 12000 visa numbers, USCIS may possibly consider 15000 applicants so that they will get 12000 approvable, background check free and non-delayed cases.
So, i think for EB2 the dates could move to either Oct/Nov/Dec of 2006.
In July, the next wave of spill over could move the dates further into 2007.
