Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
Any one who has this status according to previous status system will have Document Ordered or Oath Ceremony in the new status system.
This is just dumb uscis programmers at work. Pure translation "Document mailed to applicant" = Document Ordered or Oath Ceremony.

I just transferred my H-1B to my new employer and now in the process of filing PERM.
However, the owner of the company does not want to give a copy of the company's ITR or any Financial Statement for any reason. And he sticks to his statement very strongly.
My question is, do I have a chance of getting a green card without the company's ITR/FS being submitted?
For now, I just told my paralegal to put the PERM filiing on-hold while I ask others who may have experience in this. I'm worried that I will just waste time and money for this and get denied in the end. Should I find another willing employer?
No. of employees in our company is around 50+.
Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks.
your petition if he is not willing to provide Financial information? Your petition will be denied( I-140 level) if he does not prove he has the funds to provide for your salary. You might want to highlight this or find a new employer..

People have seen approvalas as early as 11 days after the RFE response reached CIS. Their suggested limit is 60 days before which they have to make a decision.
If there is no visa number at the time they have to assign one to your case, then it will be set aside. It is not very clear when they actually assign the number.
Does this mean that they have to make a decision on I485 even if your PD is not current. My PD is 11/2004 and I had an RFE to which I sent a reply 45 days ago. So USCIS will take a decision on my I485 application in 15 days?

Some morals of the story
- Try Qualcom, MS, IBM, etc for fulltime pos
- NEVER speak negatively about H1b program, your country, culture, anything at all, as it comes back to bite you
- ALWAYS shout out about the bad points that, if corrected, would result in advantage to you and other American workers, like job mobility and self-filing of green card

Hi,
I'm E-filing my ead newal. My status is
I'm on H1B with wife being on H4. We both are July'07 filers and received EAD and AP last year.
We both went to India and used AP's while we came back as we had no Visa stampings on our passports. After returned to US, I'm back on H1 and never used EAD.
Our H visas will expire on 07/30.
While filling the I-765 application, I thought we both should put in 'PAROLEE-PAR' for Question(14) 'Manner of Last entry' AND H1(or H4) for Question(15) 'Current immigration status'.
My attorney mentioned that I should chose PAROLEE-PAR for both questions as we didn't file for H extensions after returned to US using AP. Is this right.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,
My H1B visa application at Chennai Consulate ran into additional administrative processing requirements. I was given a pink slip stating that the visa cannot be issued until then under Section 221(g). My I-485 application has been pending since Aug 2007 and this is a regular H1B extension petition. ( In hindsight I wonder if I should not have applied for a visa at all and used my Advanced Parole to return-- only the lawyer was recommending to maintain a valid H1B if possible without much difficulty).
I have gotten the H1B stamping at Chennai Consulate for the same employer few years back. Not sure why they would require more processing now. I gave all the information requested by the interviewing visa officer and I had almost all documents in hand starting from I20, tax returns for the past 10 years, bank statements, experience letters etc etc. But were not asked for.
Does anybody know of any way of speeding up this additional administrative processing?
Can anything be done other than waiting for the passport in the mail?
Does anybody know what is being done in the name of additional administrative processing?
Thanks.
Please contact ivcoordinator@gmail.com and provide your details. We need your information to present it to the USCIS/DHS officials...

Hi,
I have also re-scheduled my wifes FP appointment about 2 weeks ago and have not got the new appointment yet.I did mention in the letter what time frame my wife will be unavailable. I talked with USCIS customer support and they said that it might take couple of weeks to few months to get the next appointment.
Cheers

Hey,
I learnt that even after getting GC approved, one should still need to stay with similar kind of job. I read the content on murthys chatting session where the attorney has explained that GC is all about future job and that the GC holder needs to stay with the similar kind of jobs. So, if the GC holder changes his job to a new job with different job duties his GC approval could be revoked during naturalization process. If this correct, what great benefit one would get, besides eligibility to more jobs and easy travel abroad?:mad:
I guess we do not enjoy freedom until we get citizenship.this might take another ten years:eek::eek:
Well, you need to work with the employer for some time. It is not that you see the approval mail, and send your resignation to your HR. You need to, conservatively, stay with your employer for around 6 months to a year before moving on. Then again, if you plan your change of job before you get your GC, you are getting your GC on a fraudulent basis.

I got no such notice. You can do online if you have no traffic infractions. I had a speed ticket so I had to go in-person :(
Update on my case: it is STILL pending, even though they said it was approved. Plan to conduct Operation Bug'em coming week all over again
How and When did you start the renewal process?

I had the similar question to an attorney few weeks back, my question was to join another company B(New company) and come back to GC sponsored company A when I get my GC.
Answer was GC will be at risk as I may not be able provide a valid reason why I switched to different company while was in H1.Without a valid reaosn it is risking the intention of joining the GC company.
But your case is different and your company will file ammendment to LCA so technically you will be working with same company and getting all paychecks. As mentioned by others GC is for future employment and location change will not affect your GC it affects H1 and you are taking care of it by ammending the LCA. So you should be fine but you never know USCIS :)
