Mel C: "Victoria's Excited for a Baby Girl!"

Mel C has revealed that former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham is "thrilled" to be having a daughter.

The singer commented that the designer, who already has three sons - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and 6-year-old Cruz - with her husband David Beckham, can't wait for her baby girl to be born.

"Victoria is thrilled to be having a girl. She was very, very excited to let us all know," she told Bang Showbiz.

"Her boys are absolutely lovely and beautiful - they're beautiful boys - but them having a little sister is a dream come true. She's going to be the best looked-after little girl in the whole world."

Mel also said that if Victoria and David's daughter is anything like her parents she will be taking over her mother's fashion business when she grows up.

She added: "I'm sure she's going to be very stylish if she follows in her parents' footsteps - they're both very fashionable people. She'll be taking over that fashion empire in no time!"

Victoria Isn't Taking a Maternity Leave of Absence

Victoria Beckham has revealed that she will continue working right up until her daughter is born next month.

The singer-turned-fashion designer, who is eight months pregnant with her fourth child, told GLAMOUR magazine that she has no intention on slowing down, until her baby daughter is born.

The star joked: "Maternity leave - what's that? I've been working incredibly hard so I'm prepared for next season."

Victoria, who is already mum to Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, said that normal working mums could relate to her plight, commenting: "Being a working mum is hard - I think women can relate to me when I say it's like juggling glass balls."

However, the star, who took home the coveted Accessory Designer of the Year gong at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year earlier this week, insisted that she doesn't see her clothing line as a job, saying: "My husband and children will always be my priority. But for me, what I do professionally doesn't feel like a job - it's my passion."

She later added: "It's been a really exciting time for me. It's my passion to make women look and feel beautiful and the highest compliment I can receive is when women enjoy what I'm doing."

Beckham is expected to give birth to her first daughter, with husband David Beckham, on 4 July in their adoptive home of Los Angeles

Victoria's Pregnancy Style Staples

For each of her four pregnancies, Victoria Beckham has had a distinct style during every one. For example, with Brooklyn she was all about showing off her belly which she did in form fitting dresses and belly baring tops. While pregnant with Romeo, she favored fitted tops masked underneath blazers and sweaters. With Cruz, she was all about the ponchos and capes. With baby girl Beckham, I've noticed the following items have been her pregnancy style staples...

Victoria was rarely spotted outside of her home without one of her two Marc Jacobs quilted leather jackets. She owns two colors - black and a hunter green - which she often paired with jeans and leggings over the first few months. Underneath the coat, she typically wears either a loose fitting tank or T-shirt.

Of course one of her own designs would obviously be a fourth time pregnancy staple. Now Victoria's dress collections are usually very slim fitted and well tailored. For the past few seasons, she has been giving different drapery methods a try and I'm sure she is very glad she did as this loose fitting knot drape dress from her spring 2011 collection has been #1 lately.

Now most people would have a hard time walking in these without a growing baby in their belly but Victoria does not fear the dramatic height of her now favorite Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps. She has the style in three colors - basic black, custom navy crocodile, and nude. I see a possible new "Shoe of the Year" already... and it's only just about June!

Lastly, while most expectant mothers dress themselves in loose/baggy pants to make room for their growing tummy, Victoria has favored stretchy leggings instead. I think that these are a much more chic alternative to maternity pants, but that is merely my opinion. Victoria seems to really like the comfort of the stretchy material as she's worn them several times paired with her suede Louboutin Ariella Talon boots.

Victoria Dresses Up for a Day at the Field

Here is just one example of why Victoria Beckham has been not only my one and only role model and style icon over the past fifteen years... she's not affraid to look amazing and wear whatever she wants - no matter where that is.

Case in point, she spent time this weekend with her boys at a field/park where the boys practiced their soccer skills. Now "normal" park attire for most people usually consists of jeans, a simple T-shirt, and either flip flops or sneakers.... for Victoria's fabulous self, she insisted on black leggings, a flowing top, and sky high Louboutin boots. Love it!

Victoria... you're just too fabulous - one of the many reasons why we all adore you so much!

Baby Beckham to be Born in the USA

Since baby girl Beckham will be entering the world very soon, it comes as no surprise that the press is already speculating on when, where, and how Victoria will give birth.

According to the most recent reports, VB has opted for a Caesarean section for the 4th July which is Idependence Day here in the USA, David & Victoria's 11th wedding anniversary, and the 4th anniversary of their move to the United States.

A spokesperson for Victoria told MailOnline: "It is no secret that Victoria will be having her baby in the U.S. - we will not be confirming the date although early July is correct. David and Victoria have a shortlist of names and once they have met their daughter then they will decide."

I, personally, can't wait until the new baby is born! I'm anxious to hear what they will name her and curious if they will do a magazine cover as several other celebrities have done here in the US. People magazine seems to be the go-to magazine for celebrity birth announcements: think JLo, Nicole Richie, Brad & Angelina, Britney Spears, Christian Aguiliera, and Christina Applegate.. just to name a few. How stunning would a cover be featuring the Beckhams with their new buddle of joy!! Here's hoping!

Recap: Victoria's Star Studded Baby Shower

Two weeks ago, Victoria's BFF's Eva Longoria and Ken Paves threw the fashionable mommy-to-be an elegant baby shower at Petit Ermitage 2 in West Hollywood. The guest of honor wore the same outfit she wore on her birthday which consisted of a self designed dress from her spring 2011 collection and her favorite Louboutin Daffodile pumps. The shower was even complete with a dress design game which VB seemed to really enjoy as she tweeted this photo.

The Only Santa Coming to the Beckhams will be at Christmas

For those of you who were honestly believing that Victoria and David were going to name their daughter... uh.. Santa, rest assured as VB's team has laughed off those rumors (thank goodness).

Victoria Beckham's team has laughed off stories that the designer may be set to call her baby girl Santa Beckham. The story emerged in the Sun newspaper claiming Victoria was inspired by Santa Monica, near where the family lives, but a spokesperson told us there is no truth in the rumours.

"This is simply tabloid nonsense," Beckham's representative told us.

Victoria Beckham looked amazing in a dress from her fall 2011 collection as she glided through LAX en route to London last week. The fashion designer was headed to her old stompping ground to meet with her design team to work on the latest collections... very exciting!

I love these airport shots because this is the first time we can clearly see an itty bitty visible baby girl bump! She's literally glowing!

Maternity Chic... So Far...

When Victoria announced she was pregnant, the majority of us were extremely excited and not just because there will be yet another gorgeous Beckham baby in the world (the most obvious reason), but also because we were excited to see what Victoria's fourth time maternity style would be like.

So far, I have not been disappointed! In my opinion, she is the most stylish woman on the planet and even in pregnancy, she still reigns supreme. Yes, she's very into blazers and billowy tops right now, but who else is rocking thigh high boots with chains in the back, towering Louboutin platforms, or waxy denim with spikes along with their baby bump?

It's a GIRL!

David Beckham confirmed that Victoria is expecting their first daughter during a LA Galaxy luncheon yesterday afternoon. "Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl!"

"We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon. three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well."

I am so over the moon excited for them! This is going to be one very stylish little lady!
